JULY 10th RESULTS
The 10.50 Street Eliminator Class is quickly becoming very popular.  I new comer
to the class but by no means to racing, Mike Klemme would through old school down
on this bunch on his KZ powered entry.  Mikey would drop a 10.505 bomb on their
heads and school was quickly in session.
TOP 10 QUALIFYING
1)   MIKE KLEMME                      10.505
2)   JOE FRIEDMANSKY              10.523
3)   MIKE LOPEZ                         10.529
4)   JOHN RUDNIK                       10.540
5)   KEVIN NOSS                         10.549
6)   MARK MUELLER                   10.560
7)   JAKE MANZKE                       10.563
8)   MARCUS TAYLOR                10.588
9)   BRENT MERRICK                  10.593
10) LEON ROBINSON                  10.599
In the semi final round Jake Manzke and Brent Merrick would pair off.  Jake
must have been dreaming of a juice pulled pork sandwich on the line.  He
unfortunately took a big nap leaving the door kicked open for Merrick to cruise to
an easy win.  Mike Klemme would the educate Rob Vick on how this whole index
deal is done.  Leave first and run the number.  Sounds easy
but...................Klemme would take an .04 hole shot and just keep the other big guy
right on his heels right through the traps.  Both ran 10.55 but Klemme wins the race
on the tree.

VICK (L) vs KLEMME (R)
MERRICK(L) vs MANZKE (R)
In the final round, Brent Merrick went over his notes on Klemme and took it to him
on the tree.  Merrick leaves first with a .06 hole shot of his own.  Now, let's see what O'l
Mikey has up his sleeve for this one.  Actually, he has nothing up his sleeve, it's located
under his seat in a lovely shade of blue.  My personal favorite color.  Klemme would get
on the button hard and force Merrick to then play catch up.  Klemme takes him right to
the edge and cuts him loose.  Merrick breaks out by more.  That little lesson was a
learning moment brought to you courtesy of KPM.  Pay attention in class, it never ends.

JULY 11th RESULTS
Apparently, Mr. Merrick was taking notes on Saturday.  While Mark Mueller
would take the number one qualifying position running a 10.51, Merrick was number
three running a 10.53, only .01 behind you know who Mike Klemme.  Let's see how
this one pans out.  With 20 entries this was going to be work to get to the pay
window.  Not that it's ever easy.
TOP 10 QUALIFYING
1)   MARK MUELLER                         10.517
2)   MIKE KLEMME                             10.520
3)   BRENT MERRICK                        10.530
4)   STEVE KLEMME                          10.559
5)   J
AKE MANZKE                             10.573
6)   JOE FRIEDMANSKY                     10.580
7)   ADAM RENNER                            10.582
8)   JOHN O'CONNOR                         10.605
9)   ELVIS KURTOVIC                         10.633
10) KEVIN NOSS                                 10.634
Round three winner included Brent Merrick, Joe Friedmansky and Mark
Mueller.  Hmm, I notice there is no mention of one Mike Klemme here?  I guess
Merrick did take good notes on Saturday.  Although they didn't face each other,
only one remained.
ROUND THREE ACTION
FRIEDMANSKY (L) vs LOPEZ(R)
MERRICK (L) vs RENNER(R)
MUELLER ON BYE....... RUN THAT IS
The semi final round gave Joe Friedmansky the competition bye into the final round.
Mark Mueller would have to get past Brent Merrick to do the same.  Merrick strapped an .05
hole shot on Mueller pushed him right to the edge.  Sound familiar?  However, Merrick would
not break out but run a 10.51 to push Mueller out running an index breaking 10.46.
SEMI FINAL ACTION
FRIEDMANSKY ON BYE
MERRICK (L) vs MUELLER(R)
In his second final in as many days, Brent Merrick would face Joe Friedmansky.
Merrick would have to play catch up as Friedmansky took a slight starting line advantage
cutting an .087 to Merrick's .106.  Merrick however was able to power past Friedmansky
with a bit of room to spare at the big end and take his second win of the year and a
commanding lead in the points.
