JUNE 26 RESULTS
Once again Mother Nature was flexing her soggy muscles threatened rain all day
long. Battling heat and high humidity with altitudes nearing 4000 foot conditions
it was tough going.  Matt Thomas would lead the field into eliminations just
squeezing into the sevens running a 7.999 @ 175 mph.

In the opening round Mike Losser would match his qualifying number to the
thousandth and would take down Brian Westphal in the process.  Steve
Battaglia sporting a brand new ride would take on Bob Krzemien who also made
major cosmetic changes to his ride for 2010.  Both rides were sluggish of the
line leaving only a hundredth apart.  On the top end Battaglia would just hold off
Krzemien running a 8.88 to Krzemien"s 8.89.  Glenn Stickels then took on Jon
Busch who also has a beautiful brand new ride. Stickels took a big holeshot and
then started spinning.  Busch left soft but began running Stickels down in big
fashion.  Stickels was able to power back around Busch with both riders running
an 8.643, Stickels at 177 and Busch at 168!  Tight!    Finally Matt Thomas put
down the quickest pass of the round on his bye with an 8.19 at 173.

The round two run between Mike Losser and Matt Thomas was the quickest pass of the
day.  Losser got drilled by Thomas who had a .004 to Lossers .115 RT.  Losser however
was on a pass.  He chewed up and spit out Thomas running a 7.84 at 185 to down the
spinning Thomas to advance.  Glenn Stickels also stepped up his game in the sophomore
round leaving just behind Steve Battaglia.  Battaglia seriously over powered the track as
Stickels improved over his opening round running an 8.07 to Battaglia's 8.85.

The final round between Glenn Stickels and Mike Losser would end up with
Mike Losser taking the win going away from Stickels who could not repeat his
round two numbers.
